Reserved legal work is carried out by our partner firm, Kingsley Bond Solicitors Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. When Kingsley Bond acts for you, it is a separate data controller for your information and will give you its own privacy notice.

- Property and transaction details: the property address, price, lender, estate agent and other parties to your sale or purchase

Information from other people
We may receive information about you from estate agents, mortgage brokers or introducers who refer you to us, from lenders and other parties to your transaction, and from identity verification and credit reference providers.

- Your estate agent, mortgage broker or introducer, to keep your transaction moving
- Lenders, other conveyancers and parties to your transaction
- Identity verification, anti-money laundering and search providers
- HM Land Registry and HMRC, for example for registration and Stamp Duty Land Tax
- Our IT, hosting, email and case management providers
- Our professional advisers, insurers and auditors
- Regulators, law enforcement or courts, where the law requires it
Where you are referred to us and a referral fee is paid, we will tell you about it before you instruct us.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure your information is protected by an adequacy decision or by approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
7. How long we keep your information
We do not keep any client data on this website. If you send us an enquiry through our website form, a copy is held securely in our website’s admin area for up to 12 months so we can respond and follow up, then deleted.
Client and transaction records are held by Kingsley Bond Solicitors Limited, which keeps them in line with its own privacy notice and its legal and regulatory obligations.
8. How we keep your information safe
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encryption and staff training. Only people who need your information to do their job can see it.
